Hey die-hard Steiner enthusiasts! Have you ever seen a green Steiner machine?

In the late 1980s, Steiner Turf Equipment Inc. was sold to Ransomes. While the standard red Steiner machines continued to be produced, units built specifically for Ransomes dealers were painted Ransomes Green for a period of time!

The machine shown here is a Steiner Ransome Turf Trak 2, which is virtually identical to the Steiner 220, aside from the paint colour and branding.

The other Steiner shown is a Steiner 230, which shares many similar features with the Steiner 220/Turf Trak 2.

A neat piece of Steiner history and a rare sight to see today!
