Happy Thanksgiving weekend from our family to yours!

We wouldn’t be able to diversify our orchard without customers like you so from the bottom of our hearts, we hope you all have a safe and full thanksgiving.

A pair of a pair of pears. We now have 4 varieties of pears available on the wagon!

☀️ Sundown - big flavour & big fruit. This variety came from the same trial as all of our other “Harrow” varieties. The first choice for Janelle
🍐 Bartlett - the classic pear that everyone knows. Our first choice for canning, baking and eating. Available in ½ bushels for your preservation projects
✨ Harrow Crisp - a customer favourite. This pear keeps its super smooth texture even as it ripens.
🔴 Flemish Beauty - our antique pear. This pear originates from Belgium. It’s unique and eats more like an apple. Our customers that like this pear, can’t get enough of it.

We still have lots of apples, mums, squash and pumpkins available. Our field vegetables are producing well still - lots of Roma tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, onions & garlic. We are still cutting gladioli every day.

We still have lots of goodies for your harvest table this week!

🍐 3 varieties of pears - Harrow Crisp for poached pears or Flemish Beauty for a salad
🎃 Squash & pumpkins - Honeynut, Kabocha & Carnival squash for roasting, pie pumpkins & large carvers
💐 Gladioli for your centre pieces & chrysanthemums for your porch. (Glad special for the weekend)

Sorry, we are closing early this SATURDAY (October 3rd) at 3pm for a private family event.

We will be happy to get you all of your apple, pear, mum & c***r needs until 3pm. We will be re-opening for regular hours on Sunday morning.

🚨‼️🚨 Attention canners, Bartlett pear ½ bushels are now available!! 🚨‼️🚨

Bartlett is our choice for canning, jams & freezing but also are a great eating variety.

Harrow Crisp pears are also on the wagon. These are a selection from the Harrow Research station that have a much smoother texture and are slightly sweeter than Bartlett.

These wagon still has 15 variety of apples including Ambrosia, Spy and Silken. We have a nice selection of squash, field tomatoes, eggplant, mums and more!

This week we’ve added 8(!!!) new varieties of apples to the wagon. (Yes, you read that right). Notably Crimson Crisp & Nova Spy.

🍎 Crimson Crisp is a big flavour, crisp & tart variety. It’s juicy and tangy. Perfect for our tart apple lovers but also is a great baking option
🍏 Nova Spy is your classic pie varieties. They are large, tangy, tart and wonderful in a pie..

The wagon still has 2 pear varieties, fall raspberries, plums, apriums, field tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, onions, garlic, squash, pumpkins and MORE!
