This is P**t. He's not needed for my breeding program but I love him because he's his Daddy's son and he's staying just cuz I want him too.
P**t is Ninja's son (Ninja was a Cochin/Silkie, my favourite bantam mixed rooster that I kept only because he made me laugh and had a big personality - The fox that we had taking young birds this year, killed Ninja this summer, but because he was protecting the younger free range boys from the fox, he left a trail of feathers putting up a fight and ultimately saved the rest of the flock). His mother is a Salmon Faverolle named "Toot", she lives with the bantams because she gets picked on by the standard birds.
He's a funny little bird, and was picking fights with the bigger roosters today and got a little tore up and needed some snuggles and a time out 😝 What's funny is the bigger roosters don't really retaliate, they just kick him off or dodge out of his way for the most part, but he did get a small chunk tore out of his comb, otherwise he's fine as usual.
