🌸 A little zinnia care tip! 🌸

If you picked up a bunch of zinnias from the Flower Cart this weekend, here’s something important to know about these beauties!

Zinnias are a “dirty” flower 🌸😂 They tend to shed a lot of plant material into their water, which means their vase water can get cloudy and yucky much faster than other flowers.

To keep your zinnias looking their best:

💧 Change their water EVERY DAY
🫧 Give the vase a quick rinse when you change it
✂️ Trim a little off the stems before putting them back in fresh water

It may seem like a lot of work, but fresh, clean water makes a HUGE difference in how long your zinnias last!

The Flower Cart is located at the Upper Village Mall in Harvey. Bouquets will be available starting at 9:30 on Saturday, August 15th. The Flower Cart is self serve and we appreciate your honesty so that we’re able to continue with this little gem in our community🤍
