Our Co-op community really showed up for Fuel Good Day this year! ⛽🐾
Together, Yellowknife and Hay River purchased nearly 26,000 litres of fuel on September 15. That's over 4,300 more litres than last year — a 20% increase in the amount of fuel sold!
At 10¢ per litre, we were able to donate $2,597.03 to two great local organizations:
🐾 Yellowknife: $2,207.69 to the NWT SPCA
🐾 Hay River: $389.34 to the Hay River Animal Shelter
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and filled up, and to our gas bar teams for all their hard work!
Lakeshore Co-op is owned by our local member-owners, and we work hard to make sure they're proud of their store, proud of what it stands for, and proud of how it gives back to Yellowknife and Hay River.
Fuel Good Day is just one of the many ways we're able to give back throughout the year, and we couldn't do it without the continued support of our members and customers.
Thank you for supporting your local Co-op and helping us support our communities!
And we're not done yet! Our next major community event is the Salvation Army Food Drive on October 10. Stay tuned for more details on how you can help us support local families!
