From freezer meals and stuffed buns to charcuterie boxes and weekly hot specials, everything is made with care to make mealtime easy and delicious. With working full time, being a mom; and the stresses of keeping a house in order we know first hand about the struggles of being busy. Dinners are the last thing on anyones list of things they'd like to do. Its easy to slip into the convenience of the

modern world, and fill our familys full of take-out. For far too long we've been stuck with what is on the grocery pre-box goods, with items that have been preserved, flash frozen, and have had all the natural flavors and vitamins and protiens removed. Freezer meals save you time, preparation, provide wholesome foods, and most of all provide you time with the people you see the least in a day! Your family! Eating at home everynight is no longer a challange, simply remove from the freezer and in a short time its ready to plate and eat. No mess, no fuss, just ease and healthy convenience as well as cost effective. We are not about eating low-fat preserved foods or cutting out food groups. We are about cooking with as many unproccessed, organic, whole foods and local ingredients as possible. By simply making homemade meals for your family, you are cutting out large amounts of sodium, and harmful trans-fats that come from the fast foods and freezer section of the grocery store. A healthy meal shouldn't mean an expensive meal. And a quick meal shouldn't mean an unhealthy meal. We are priced to simply help you put nutritious and quick meals on your table with ease.

Many of you have become more than customers over the years—you’ve become friends, and because of that, I wanted to share something important with our DLD family.

My son has been diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy, an autoimmune disease that has progressed to Stage 5 kidney failure. As a parent, there is nothing more important than your child’s health, and we are doing everything we can to support him through this journey.

I have begun the kidney donor testing process and, so far, everything is looking positive for me to be a potential donor. We are incredibly hopeful, but there are still appointments, testing, and steps ahead of us.

The reason I’m sharing this is simply to be transparent. There may be days when I need to travel for medical appointments or testing, which could occasionally affect our schedule or result in last-minute changes. Rather than leave room for confusion or speculation, I wanted you to hear it directly from us.

Like many small businesses, Done Like Dinner relies on being open and serving our community, and this season brings some uncertainty. Your support, patience, and understanding mean more than you know—not only to our business, but to our family as well.

Most importantly, we ask that you keep my son in your thoughts as he navigates the challenges of kidney failure and awaits the gift of better health.

Thank you for supporting our family, our business, and the people we love.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for your patience, understanding, and kind messages during my unexpected time away from the store.

Many of you were wondering about the family emergency that pulled me away so suddenly. I was with my daughter and son in law as we navigated the early arrival of my grandson, Oliver. It was an emotional and unexpected few days, but I am happy to share that Mom and baby are both doing well.

Family has always been incredibly important to me, and I am so grateful that I was able to be there when they needed me most.

Thank you for your understanding while things were a little quieter than usual at Done Like Dinner. Your support, patience, and kindness mean more than you know.

Now that everyone is doing well, I am excited to be back in the kitchen and serving all of you again.
