We thought we should take a minute and re-introduce ourselves as we kick off our 4th season of the Monck Lake Pizza Co.!

In 2021 when we bought our first pizza oven, our son Thomas (who was 7 at the time) suggested we should start a pizza company where people could come and pick up pizzas from our dock… we loved that idea as it was during Covid and we thought a great way to safely see neighbours on the lake and meet new ones.

We built on his idea and decided to make it a fundraiser, to help teach our kids about helping others and a way for the lake to get involved in something bigger.

That summer we donated $1,500 to the - the residential schools survivors society.
🍕
Flash forward to 2024 and we’ve made two other donations: $1,500 to the - the UN high commission for refugees to help those fleeing the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦, and $1,500 to the Friends of Algonquin Park () to help with the wildfires of 2023. That’s $4,500 in donations from our little pizza co!

This year, we’ve chosen We will start a fundraiser on our page and keep you updated through the summer, so even if you aren’t able to join us for pizza and would like to be a part of this, feel free to donate.

We added some merch (hoody’s and thermal bags to keep you and your pizzas warm on the boat ride home). If you’re interested in either let us know!

What a summer!

Thank you to everyone who came by for pizza this summer and supported our fundraiser for the Friends of Algonquin Park - together we raised $1,525!

We're so proud of our Monck Lake neighbours and friends for their charity - together we've sent $1,500 to the Indian Residential Schools Survivors Society, $1,500 to the UN High Commission for Refugees for those fleeing violence in Ukraine and now $1,500 to the Friends of Algonquin Park to help the Park recover from a season of wildfires.

Thanks for supporting our little pizza co. We'll see you next summer!
