🎤 ONE LAST LAUGH OF THE SEASON! 🎤

Join us October 16 for the final County Craft Comedy Night of the season, hosted by County local, Yuk Yuk’s headliner and Canadian Comedy Award nominee Jeff Elliott.

Featuring:

🌟 Chuck Byrn — a 30-year veteran of the Canadian comedy scene, Chuck has performed across the country and on stages including the National Arts Centre, Just for Laughs, the Halifax Comedy Festival and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. He’s also appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing and spent five seasons as head writer on CBC’s Still Standing. After three decades in the business, Chuck brings a sharp, seasoned perspective and the kind of stage presence that comes from knowing exactly how to make a room laugh.

🌟 Short Attention Spa — Lenny Epstein and Gavin North have been performing together since 2018, blending improv, stand-up and alternative comedy into a smart, unpredictable and highly entertaining duo act. They’ve appeared at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Comedy Country Festival and Puppets Up! International Puppet Festival, and have opened for comedy favourites including Kevin Nealon, Scott Thompson, Bruce McCulloch, Martha Chaves and Chris Locke.

Six German and European-style l***rs. All pouring on draft. This is Oktoberfest at Gillingham. 🍻

We’ve always had a deep appreciation for l***r brewing. It demands patience, precision and restraint — and this Saturday, for our Oktoberfest celebrations, we’re rather proud to be pouring six distinct German and European-style l***rs on draft, including some of our most celebrated award-winning b**rs.

A proper l***r lineup, brewed the way we believe it should be.

🇩🇪ES Märzen — The quintessential award-winning Oktoberfest l***r. Deep amber, beautifully malt-forward, with notes of toasted bread and gentle caramel before a crisp, clean finish.

🇩🇪Vienna L***r — One of the cornerstones of our brewery and a multiple award winner. Elegant toasted malt, biscuit and subtle caramel character balanced by a remarkably clean finish.

🇨🇿Be Livin’ Czech Pilsner — Pale, bright and precise. Delicate grain, floral and herbal hop character, restrained bitterness and a wonderfully dry finish.

🇩🇪Social Call Kölsch — Delicate and exceptionally drinkable, with soft malt, subtle fruit character and an elegant, crisp finish.

🇩🇪Sydney Helles L***r — Smooth and quietly complex. Fresh bread and gentle malt sweetness meet restrained hops for a beautifully balanced, clean l***r.

🇩🇪Jack’s Black L***r multiple award-winning Schwartzbier — Dark, refined and deceptively light. Toasted malt, subtle chocolate and delicate roasted notes with the unmistakably crisp finish of a German l***r.

Six expressions of traditional l***r brewing, side by side and pouring fresh from the taps. If there were ever a Saturday to appreciate just how much range there is within l***r, this would be it.

And naturally, a proper Oktoberfest deserves a proper vessel. Gillingham-branded steins will be available for purchase throughout the celebrations.

THE ES MÄRZEN IS BACK. 🍺🇩🇪

Our award-winning ES Märzen L***r returns this Friday, perfectly timed for our Oktoberfest celebrations this Saturday.

Born from Bavarian brewing tradition, Märzen was historically brewed in March (März in German), l***red cool through the summer, then cracked open when Oktoberfest rolled around. A b**r literally made for this occasion.

Ours pours a deep amber with a rich, toasted malt character, notes of fresh bread crust and light caramel, balanced by a gentle noble-hop bitterness and a beautifully clean, crisp l***r finish.

One of our favourite l***rs in our lineup that we brew every year to celebrate the Fall season and enjoyed with traditional German style food.
