Longer days, warmer evenings and patio pints in full swing, we welcome back a seasonal favourite - Floating In A Summer Sky, Hefeweizen. 🌾

Originating in Bavaria, Germany, have been enjoyed for centuries and remain one of the world’s most refreshing warm-weather beer styles. Brewed with a generous portion of wheat malt and traditional German yeast, this classic style delivers soft notes of banana, clove, fresh-baked bread, and a gentle citrus character, all wrapped up in its signature hazy golden appearance. And with a respectable 5.3% ABV, makes this beer an easy patio crusher.

A tropical, punchy, herbaceous citrus glass of deliciousness.

The Living’s Easy is a vibrant showcase of New Zealand hops at their finest. Rakau brings waves of juicy stone fruit—think ripe apricot, nectarine, and a touch of pear—while Riwaka layers in zesty lime peel, crushed gooseberry, and subtle herbal aromatics. It opens bright and tropical, mellows into a soft, rounded body with hints of sweet citrus and melon, and finishes crisp with a refreshing snap of light pine and earthy spice.

Complex yet highly drinkable, it’s a bold, expressive IPA with a refined edge. It’s back, baby! Come get it on draft and in cans to go. 🍻

County Craft Comedy Nights are back!

Our 5th season of knee-slapping belly-laughs in the beer garden is back and by popular demand.

We are delighted to welcome back to the stage, our friend as host and emcee for these hilarious monthly shows. Jeff is a touring headliner with Yuk Yuk’s, a Canadian comedy award nominee and a veteran of the comedy festival circuit - not to mention, a county local.
His star-studded line-up consists of monthly rotating talent taking the stage. Guaranteed laughter and fun at every show accompanied with great beer, wine and concession-style snacks.

Monthly shows start in June and go through to October. The 3rd Friday of each month. Tickets are on sale now on our website through link in our bio. Pre-purchase yours as shows sell-out fast!

What better way to spend your Friday eve in The County than with good friends, great beer and wine whilst laughing so hard that your cheeks hurt. See you at the show! 🎭🤣

There’s something timeless about a Belgian Blonde—refined, deceptively simple, and quietly complex in all the right ways. Originally brewed by Belgian monasteries as an approachable alternative to their stronger ales, the style leans into balance: soft malt character, gentle fruit esters, and that signature Belgian yeast profile that brings it all to life.

Our take stays true to tradition.

Pouring a glowing golden hue with a delicate, pillowy head, Sweet Madame opens with subtle notes of honeyed malt, fresh pear, and a whisper of spice. The yeast does the talking—lightly expressive, while a soft bitterness keeps things crisp and endlessly drinkable. Elegant, but not fussy. Classic, but not boring.

There’s something about a lager that never asks for attention—but always earns it.

At GILLINGHAM, our appreciation for lagers runs deep. Not just as a style, but as a philosophy. A commitment to doing things properly, even when no one’s watching. Because a great lager isn’t rushed. It’s not loud. It’s patient, precise, and unapologetically traditional.

From crisp, clean pilsners to soft, rounded helles… from amber-hued Vienna lagers to richer, malt-forward expressions—this is where we live. This is what we love.

Our roster leans heavily into these time-honoured styles, inspired by brewing traditions from Germany, the Czech Republic, and beyond. Places where lager isn’t a trend—it’s a way of life. We’ve taken that inspiration and made it our own, right here in The County. No shortcuts. Just honest beer, brewed with intent.

And yes—some of these lagers have picked up a bit of hardware along the way that we are beyond proud of. Multiple award-winning expressions like Jack’s Black lager, Vienna lager and our seasonal release - ES Märzen lager that continue to set the tone for what we do best. But the real reward? Watching someone take that first sip and pause… because they get it.

Lagers aren’t flashy. They don’t need to be. They’re refined. Balanced. Effortlessly drinkable.
