Alsike Clover and Alfalfa. The bee yards are located at a minimum distance of a mile from major monoculture crops to enhance the flavour of the honey. The bees are taken care without use of contaminating chemicals and varroa is monitored with formic or oxalic acid, a practice of organic beekeeping.
