Perks French Hula, better known as Luna the Lunicorn, has been busy making dreams come true in three events lately! ✨
At the Alberta High School Rodeo Finals, Tanya generously loaned Luna to Danica Jeffery after Danica’s own horse was sidelined with an injury. The pair had an incredible weekend, posting the fastest barrel time of the finals with a 16.161 on Saturday, followed by a 16.313 which put them second on Sunday.
Luna also stepped up to help Amedee Crossland in the Girls Goat Tying and Virgil Paley on the heel side in Team Roping, proving once again just how versatile and dependable she is.
The winning didn’t stop there! At the Double T North Series in Teepee Creek, Tanya and Luna laid down a beautiful 15.023-second run, winning the day against 150+ riders and setting a new arena record! 🏆. Last weekend at the WRA in Hinton the pair placed Third⭐️

Luna is out of our incredible broodmare Lil French Lota Fame (Frenchs Hula Guy × Nellie Betabe) and is sired by Thunder Perks.
Tanya has enjoyed tremendous success with Luna over the years and loves her so much, she purchased Luna’s half-sister, Layla~Betabe Alota Fame, by our stallion Bully Fame out of Lil French Lota Fame.
We can’t wait to watch Tanya & Layla begin her own journey in the barrel pen soon!
