We are back at work and hoping the next heat wave is gentler than the last!

We have decided to keep the ovens off during the current heat wave!
Starting Wednesday, August 11th till the 18th, we will try to stay cool. Do the same!

Thank you to Eric Jean of Service d'Arbres Jean (579-491-6006) for taking care of some dangerous tree limbs after the microburst that devastated Mascouche and clearly marked Huntingdon! We had NO damage to buildings or vehicles, and no one was hurt so I am very grateful.

Here is the floor in progress. Don't panic, the tiles are being laid on a sub-floor that protects the beautiful, ancestral pine floor beneath. This was the most efficient way to protect it and provide an appropriate surface. It is still visible on the other side so it can be admired!

We have started renovating the space that will be our bakery in Huntingdon. As such we will be closed from May 16th to June 1. Thanks for your support and understanding!

We are counting the sleeps to get in to our new building! We are so excited but first, some history homework...The church that will be the bakery is smack dab in the middle of this pic taken in circa 1910. The story behind this place is fascinating and worth telling so we will share it with you over the next few weeks.
