Our first weddings of the season and the bright colourful palettes for both weddings brought the light to an overcast day.
Two lovely couples and we feel so grateful to be part of their day creating florals to bring that special beauty signifying something very meaningful is happening in this place at this time.
Huge thanks to Jenny, Shannon, Cindy and Becky for making the days run smoothly and to Fern for your support in the days leading up to the weddings. I’m incredibly grateful to this creative, fun, thoughtful and supportive group of women! A dream team!

📷 a quiet moment after loading the centrepieces. So happy with how these came together!

We are sold out. My heart feels heavy not being able to get our beautiful flowers into the hands of everyone who wants to gift our blooms today but I’m so grateful to everyone who came out yesterday and Friday. My heart is full and perhaps that’s why it’s heavy…with gratitude.
The weather has not been on our side but on the bright side the end of next week looks beautiful!
To everyone who pre-ordered their bouquets, I have them here for you and look forward to seeing you today.
Enjoy celebrating the moms in your life today. I’m beyond grateful for my Mumsy and my mother-in-law, Marion. I couldn’t do this without their support and love. 🌷

The flower stand will be open this weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm (4pm Friday)

We’ll have our signature tulip bouquets as well as a select number of arrangements. Our pre-orders for Friday and Saturday pick up are sold out but I’ve added more for Sunday. We’ll do our best to keep the flower stand filled with bouquets for those who drop by! 🌷

So thankful to see and feel the sun this morning after a few frigid days working in the cold. Now the tulip watch begins on our field tulips. They’ve been tucked in under cover from the cold winds and last night’s heavy frost but with the warm sun and temperatures expected to rise, with any luck we’ll be harvesting loads of blooms just in time for Mother’s Day. Farming is like being a mom, it’s not for the faint of heart!

Our Mother’s Day bouquet pre-orders are now up on our website so if you’d like to reserve one of our specialty tulip bouquets, visit the website and select your date for pick up.
We’ll have the flower stand open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm filled with bouquets and arrangements. When they are gone, they are gone and we do our best to avoid disappointing people but each Mother’s Day we sell out.

Enjoy the sun today! We deserve it after the past week of not so spring-like weather!

The tulips brought the colour to this cool spring day. The first of our spring bouquets for our Wednesday subscribers went out today and it was so good to see everyone as they picked up their bouquets of sunshine. Clem was over the moon happy welcoming everyone and if he missed you, he’ll see you next time! 🐕
Our flower stand opens for the season this Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd with our specialty tulips. We’ll have the stand open 10am - 2pm and you’re welcome to reach out to reserve a bouquet for pick up at another time if these hours don’t work for you.
Saturday subscribers, we’ll see you when you drop by to pick up your bouquet or you’ll see Ian when he delivers.
And so another season of locally grown blooms begins and we are abundantly thankful to grow joy for our community!

Despite the rain and eternal gray it was a lovely mid-April day. We had our first tulip harvest to kick off the 2026 growing season and we welcomed Jenny to her first day working on the farm. I can already feel it’s going to be a wonderful season. Signs of life after winter are springing up all over the farm and the greenhouse smells so fresh and green.

Mark your calendar ~ Friday May 1st will be the first day of the flower stand season! We’ll have beautiful tulip and p***y willow bouquets to celebrate the beauty of spring! I’ll post more details closer to the date. Local flowers have arrived and we are so grateful for your patience. It truly means so much knowing you want to support locally grown flowers.

Spring Blooms Subscribers, check your email as we sent out our welcome email with the date for your first bouquet. We are so excited to share all the beautiful blooms of spring with you!

If the amount of rain is an indication of May flowers, I’d say we are in for an abundance of blooms and hopefully sunshine! 🌷

Spring is in the air! If you haven’t stepped outside, do yourself a favour and breathe in the promise of what’s to come. I can feel my body relax and take joy in the warmer days to come and the beauty that’s ready to emerge.

Tomorrow I’ll begin planting the first succession of snapdragons into the greenhouse and after that, the ranunculus and anemones. For now I’m going to enjoy this foggy morning and the scent of spring on the breeze. 🌱

What joy it is on a snowy winter’s day to be swept away to a beautiful spring day last season.
A magical weekend for this couple surrounded by family and friends at Port Cunnington Lodge on the shores of Lake of Bays.
Bright spring farm grown blooms for this ranunculus and colibri poppy bouquet with an accent of blue delphinium. Celine was beyond beautiful in her stunning gown.
The first succession of ranunculus are sprouting and the poppies are happily growing in the studio. It might not feel like spring today as winter holds tight but seeing these images reminds me that it won’t be long until spring blooms burst forth and we’ll have the first blooms of the season. 🌱
