Known as the 'European inspired bakery', we offer a wide range of fresh 'from scratch' baked goods. We offer a variety of breads, buns, and rolls. For the sweet tooth, our showcases display a vast selection of cookies, squares, and pastries i.e butter tarts, fruit tarts. And yes we do birthday cakes on order. Dutch specialties are 'boterkoek', almond crescents, and apple cakes. On the savoury side we offer chunky beef meatpies, sausage rolls, handcrafted soups and sandwiches.

Pictured is Mrs. Wouda helping in production. Many locals will remember her as the face of Windmill Bakery. She worked hard alongside her husband in the bakery and also ran the front store, welcoming customers with warmth and a knowledge of every part of the bakery.

For 50 sweet years, we’ve shared fresh mornings, community laughs, and a whole lot of flour. 🥖✨

Today, we’re kicking off a journey through our history with a look at where we are now. This building holds so many special memories, but it’s just one chapter of the story.

Starting this Wednesday, we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane and sharing moments from the past.
