As a little girl, I always dreamed of having a farm of my own. I dreamed of wide open spaces, animals in the yard, gardens growing, and building something meaningful for my family. At times it felt like a far-off dream, but today, standing here and looking at the progress we’ve made, it’s finally starting to feel real.

Piece by piece, load by load, and day by day, Blaze’s Backyard Homestead & Hatchery is coming together. There is still so much work ahead, but every cleared patch of land, every fence post, every building project brings us one step closer to the farm we’ve always envisioned.

None of this would be possible without Samuel Firmage who is always by my side. Through every long day, every challenge, and every crazy idea, he’s been there helping turn my dreams into reality. I’m so grateful to have someone who believes in this dream just as much as I do.

It’s not finished yet, but it’s ours. And watching it come together is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. ❤️🚜🌱

Our shipping boxes have remaining capacity for chicks, allowing us to fulfill orders for around 50 additional birds.

Birds will be arriving June 23 in Gander. We have chicks being shipping to Burin peninsula with stops along the way if anybody is interested in that area.
