Now that we are home, the cattle are unloaded, the truck is unpacked and the laundry is going, we can take time to reflect on the last 10 days.
We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Jennie & Stephen Mutch, of Mutch Farms for allowing the cattle to layover on the island for a few days to settle in after the 16 hour drive from home. You guys are amazing!
Next, we would like to give a shout out to the National Young Canadian Simmental Association for putting on an incredible event in Windsor, NS. The board and their coordinator did an outstanding job keeping each day running smoothly. Our kids made memories that will last a lifetime, they are already making plans for next year!
Congratulations goes out to our child by association, Terry Ennis, for his new position of director at large for the YCSA board. We are proud of you and cannot wait to see your contributions over your term.
We are so incredibly proud of our entire team and their accomplishments this past weekend. Terry, Faythe, Emerson, Alexis and Makayla you guys were quite a team, ranging in age division from peewee to senior. You guys really came together to make the dream work.
One last shout out to the Fullblood Simmental Fleckvieh Federation (FSFF) for sponsoring the Champion and Reserve Champion Fullblood banners that our kids brought home.
See you in Brome in 2027.
