Benthemmer Chelios Haven EX-93-4E. She's our herd favorite and she's nominated for Alberta Holstein Association Presidents Club Cow. She recently calved out again and started her 6th lactation. She added another E to her excellent status this week, and currently has a Lifetime production of 104,000kg of milk.

Friday night we will present the 2025 Presidents Club Cow! Here are the 2025 club nominees!

The Provincial Barn Cow award will be presented Friday night at the Alberta Holstein Association annual awards banquet. Our cow Benthemmer Legend Jorryn is nominated for it!!!

Excited to have won the barn cow competition for the Southern Alberta Holstein Club! Benthemmer Legend Jorryn is a special cow to us. She's a second lactation cow with great dairy strength and an amazing mammary system. She scored VG-86 in her second lactation. She not only has the looks, but also produces lots of milk. She's projected for 16,000kg of milk with a Fat percentage of 4.1% and protein percentage of 3.5%. This makes her a special barn cow.
Jorryn traces back to a VG-85 Malki, and a EX-90-2E Seaver.

I was asked by a friend/photographer to model for some farm pictures this last summer, I think the cows/calves were the better models, haha🤣. The pictures turned out great, these were my favorites. Thank you Layton Photography!!!
