Happy September friends!! Just going to put it out there that Thanksgiving is coming. And we’ve learned from past years to get it out early so we can keep up! So….we are asking for pre orders on bone in ham(home raised) and we also have a line on free range turkeys (approximately 20lbs) $4.50/lb . Deposit required…but etransfers accepted! So if you want the best get in early. You can message or just come in. We love seeing you!
And if you’re not into cooking Friday, ribs and chicken will be ready by 3:00

Hello friends! Still beautiful weather for BBQ ing! We have everything you need so come get your perfect supper! And it’s September sooo…..soups on! Creamy potato bacon tomorrow as always made from scratch. Pairs well with a special treat from Ma and Pas bakery from Penhold ❤️.
In the counter this week fresh mild Italian, pork and beef breakfast and beef and onion sausage.

Good afternoon! We thought with all the trade talks we should let you all know the vast variety of local items we carry. Lots of fresh locally grown produce …carrots beets cabbage Swiss chard zucchini green beans etc. Also we carry the lone pine milk and foothills creamery butters. We are also proudly selling baked treats from Ma & Pa’s Bakery in Penhold so come get something delicious ! Rubs, spice mixes, Hunny and H***h BBQ sauces , diabetic safe and gluten free ketchups and BBQ sauces, Salsas, loads of pickled products, Nixon honey and bearyberry honey products and of course all our fresh meat, sausage, deli meats, smoked hams, chops,bacons ,smokies and so so much more! All raised, produced, packaged from start to finish local! Im so proud of the local talent. We try very hard to be competitive… we may never be as cheap as the Walmarts or Costco’s…but our products are better. And we are keeping it in Alberta..take care all!

We are currently looking for someone to fill a part time position. Wednesday and Friday and every second Saturday. Serving customers, packaging products and cleaning. Apply in person with a resume. Starting wage for inexperienced $16/hr.

Hello friends! Sorry for the lack of communication lately…we have been busy getting ready to take cattle to grass. This rain has been great. The cold and wind not so much! So we will have home raised pork in the counter tomorrow! Free range! Plus fresh mild Italian and beef sausage….we also have home raised beef coming into the counter in another week. Again…last chance to have a 1/2 beef farm raised. Hormone and antibiotic free in your freezer…inquire @ [email protected]. Take care !

Happy Wednesday friends! May long weekend is here! Come get everything you need to make it a great weekend…steaks, burgers, smokies, bratwurst plus your bacon, back bacon, beef bacon, breakfast sausage and maple patties….Whatever you crave. We will also have smoked ribs hot out of the smoker at 3 on Friday if you have no desire to cook at all. And because this is Alberta we will also have roasts and stew and lots of comfort food in the counter…we got you covered! See you soon!

We have full halves of farm raised beef available…only 2 ….no hormones no antibiotics. Grain finished. 5$/lb on the rail plus cut and wrap. Roughly $3000 per half. Works out to approximately 9$/ lb. The same price as burger straight across. But you get the steaks and roasts and everything! Deposit required. We don’t do this often so let us know!

Hello all, just an FYI. Fresh beef, beef and onion and hot Italian sausage in the counter this week!
If you liked our sourdough bread before, but it had air pockets, I figured it out!! No more air, and it’s GOOD!!
Just out of the smoker this morning- smoked turkey wings, drums and thighs!
And if you’d like to cook mom a delicious surf and turf for Mother’s Day we will help you out, 10% off rib steak, ribeye, lobster tails, jumbo scallops or shrimp Friday and Saturday, she deserves it!! And in the meantime the weather is going to be nice this week, let’s get those grills going!
