Another rainy BBQ Competition is in the books.
Mean Moe's BBQ competed this weekend at Camper's Corner in London Ont.
We were able to keep the moment going by winning Reserve Grand Champion!!

5th place Chicken
2nd place Ribs Compart Duroc
8th place Pork
2nd place Brisket.

Thanks to my friend AJ who came out to fill in for Nick.

Congrats to all who heard their names called and congrats to Mike Smokin' Outlaws BBQ on their GC.

This weekend Mean Moes BBQ catered Footage Tools for the third summer at their annual summer barbecue.

We served our award winning Brisket and Pulled Pork, along with Pulled Chicken, Veggie Burgers, Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Garden Salad and Hot Dogs for the kids.

The True North BBQ Bash Competition this past weekend at New Lowell Legion was a great start to hopefully many more competitions to be held there.
It was one of the best run events and the whole organizing team should be proud of what they accomplished this weekend... 👏

The judges have been liking our BBQ this year and this weekend was no different

RESERVE GRAND CHAMPIONS 🏆

It's great to see Ontario BBQ growing the way it has this year. ESPECIALLY the laughs and good times behind the scenes with all the teams... that's the best part...

QUALIFIED for the BBQ World Cup for a shot at $1,000,000!

🏆 Mike Magill of Mean Moe's BBQ punched his ticket at La Classique BBQ Competition 🇨🇦. From Ontario, Canada to Las Vegas!

Mike is a 5-time KCBS Grand Champion and the 2024 number one KCBS team in the world in Pork (5 contests or less). In 2023, he finished 2nd at the Jack Daniels World Championship with Home Cookin From the Homeland. He built Mean Moe's signature Hot and Fast method after training at Jack's Old South in Georgia under 4-time World Champion Myron Mixon in 2015, then never looked back. He competes alongside co-pitmaster Nick O'Donnell. We'll be sharing more of their story throughout the year.

What a weekend in the La Belle Province!!!
Jocelyn and Alex from La Classique What the Pork? put on a great competition.
This competition was a qualifier for the BWC in Vegas, April 2027.
Meaning if you win this competition you're automatically entered to compete in Vegas against 100 of the best Pitmasters in the world for $1,000,000.

In addition to this chance of a lifetime, winner gets a b**g for the Jack Daniels World championship BBQ contest.

So theres a ton on the line....

Nick and I have been getting great results lately and this weekend was no different...

Out of 24 top teams from across North America 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 we WON!!!

Jocelyn and Alex made some fantastic trophies and we won a beautiful handforged knife to boot 🔪.
