The True North BBQ Bash Competition this past weekend at New Lowell Legion was a great start to hopefully many more competitions to be held there.
It was one of the best run events and the whole organizing team should be proud of what they accomplished this weekend... 👏

The judges have been liking our BBQ this year and this weekend was no different

RESERVE GRAND CHAMPIONS 🏆

1st place 🐔
7th place Ribs (compart duroc)
2nd place Pork Compart Duroc
3rd place Brisket

Congrats to Good Googly Goo BBQ for their GC and to all that heard their names called.

It's great to see Ontario BBQ growing the way it has this year. ESPECIALLY the laughs and good times behind the scenes with all the teams... that's the best part...

We look forward to seeing everyone again and ramping up the Old Fashions... 🍒. 🍊

QUALIFIED for the BBQ World Cup for a shot at $1,000,000!

🏆 Mike Magill of Mean Moe's BBQ punched his ticket at La Classique BBQ Competition 🇨🇦. From Ontario, Canada to Las Vegas!

Mike is a 5-time KCBS Grand Champion and the 2024 number one KCBS team in the world in Pork (5 contests or less). In 2023, he finished 2nd at the Jack Daniels World Championship with Home Cookin From the Homeland. He built Mean Moe's signature Hot and Fast method after training at Jack's Old South in Georgia under 4-time World Champion Myron Mixon in 2015, then never looked back. He competes alongside co-pitmaster Nick O'Donnell. We'll be sharing more of their story throughout the year.

What a weekend in the La Belle Province!!!
Jocelyn and Alex from La Classique What the Pork? put on a great competition.
This competition was a qualifier for the BWC in Vegas, April 2027.
Meaning if you win this competition you're automatically entered to compete in Vegas against 100 of the best Pitmasters in the world for $1,000,000.

In addition to this chance of a lifetime, winner gets a b**g for the Jack Daniels World championship BBQ contest.

So theres a ton on the line....

Nick and I have been getting great results lately and this weekend was no different...

Out of 24 top teams from across North America 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 we WON!!!

GRAND CHAMPIONS!!!

1st Place 🐖 Ribs Compart Family Farms
11th place 🐖
2nd Place Brisket 🐄

Jocelyn and Alex made some fantastic trophies and we won a beautiful handforged knife to boot 🔪.

Time to fix the hole in the trailer (thanks to a flying tent) and get ready for our next competition on father's day in New Lowell..

We just won the Grand Championship and punched our ticket to the Barbecue World Cup competition for a chance at a $1M, in VEGAS baby!

Back at it again this weekend in the Montreal at the La Classique What the Pork? Contest.

Storm ripped through the competition site last night and most teams battled to keep their tents and sites in one piece. Some won and some lost the battle.
We made it through thanks to our battle wagon..

Jack 9 Memorial BBQ Competition is in the books...
It's a special Competition for Nick and I and all friends of Michael Chiarotto.(Jack 9 BBQ).

Michael definitely looks over Nick and I at this Competition. This weekend was no different.

We had a great cook and the judges agreed with awarding us the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP with a 704!!!
