Have you ever tried Achu? 💛

Achu is a traditional Cameroonian dish, especially loved in the Northwest Region. It’s made with pounded cocoyam and served with the famous yellow Achu soup, traditionally enjoyed with your hands. 😋

It’s one of those meals that brings people together around the table and carries so much culture and tradition with it.

Had such a lovely time at the African Canadian Association of Ottawa Multicultural Festival today! ❤️🌍

It was a beautiful celebration of different cultures, with traditional dances, music, delicious food and so much more. I really enjoyed seeing everyone come together, sharing their culture and just having a good time.

So glad I got to experience it! ❤️

Ndolé is a popular traditional dish from Cameroon, made with bitter leaves, groundnuts and a delicious blend of spices. It’s rich, flavourful and an important part of Cameroonian food culture. ❤️

🇨🇲 Eru & Water Fufu 🌿❤️

Starting my food journey with a taste of Cameroon.

Eru and Water Fufu is a much-loved traditional meal from the Southwest region of Cameroon. Eru is prepared with leafy greens, palm oil and other ingredients that come together to create a rich and flavourful dish. It is traditionally enjoyed with soft Water Fufu — a perfect combination. 😋

For me, food is more than just what we eat. It carries memories, traditions and stories that connect us to home and culture.

Through MAC Afro Experiences, I’ll be sharing more African dishes and the culture and stories behind them. 🌍✨
