Meet our new breeding trio of rabbits! Dotty got top bunk and has settled in quick. Floppy is exhausted from the stress and napping finally. And poor Nick is curious but really not sure what this new hotel is all about.

My second favourite day of the year… the air is sweet with the smell of the Saskatoon bushes on the evening walk. The grouse are making their mating thumping sounds (which kinda sounds like my dishwasher but out in the pasture area 😂). The barn is cleaned and warm. All my favourite spring “weeds” in bloom. And we have baby chicks tomorrow!!! 🎉🐣
30 broilers and only adding 3 layers to the dozen this year. Love this season!!
