Meet The Staff Monday: K9 Edition.
This week we'd like to introduce Miss Lucy (AKA Lulu, Teeths, Psycho, DeLulu), the newest member of the Red Collar Dog Pack.
Lucy is a roughly 5-year-old yellow lab with the energy and the coordination of a 9-month-old puppy. She joined the team in December when she was rehomed to Annamarie and David, becoming a sister to Diana and a cousin to Georgia, Appa, Momo & LC.
Lucy found herself looking for a home in late 2025, and after the sudden loss of Fidelle in June of last year, the office had found itself looking for a new living alarm system. Luckily Lucy is up to the task. Never failing to alert us of all potential threats including ourselves and ghosts.
While, she has proven to potentially not be the smartest dog we've ever employed, she is incredibly sweet. She earned her nickname Teeths, from the adorable tooth smiles she gives upon greeting her humans. She adores her dog sister and cousins, and maintains a respectful distance from her feline cousin. You might say that Lucy and Georgia have become "thick as thieves", getting up to all sorts of mischief and managing to destroy (in Lucy's case ingest) a good number of cardboard related items.
Lulu is currently thriving in her new home and in her role as a member of the RCB Wellness Team (headed by Diana), and we couldn't be more thankful that life led her to us.
If you happen to see Lucy around the tasting room, give her a cuddle, and don't let her manipulate you with her insane puppy dog eyes. You've been warned!
