🍪 WE FOUND THEM — AND THE COOKIES ARE HERE! 🍪

A few days ago, we reached out to our Westsyde community looking for four young Girl Guides who had stopped by selling their Mint Girl Guide Cookies while I was away at work.

Thanks to our amazing community, we found them!

As promised, The Greek Kouzina Express purchased TWO FULL CASES of Mint Girl Guide Cookies from the girls. Now we're sharing them with you!

🇬🇷 Starting today, receive ONE FREE BOX of Mint Girl Guide Cookies with every Feast Platter purchased! 🍪

No coupon. No extra charge. We're simply giving them away until every last box is gone.

For us, supporting local goes both ways. We're incredibly grateful when Kamloops supports our small family business, and whenever we get the opportunity, we want to return that support to the people and organizations in our community.

A big thank you to the girls, their families, and everyone in Westsyde who helped us find them.

Now come hungry — dinner and dessert are covered! 🇬🇷🍪

THIS MARINADE HASN'T CHANGED IN 30 YEARS. 🇬🇷

And honestly? We wouldn't dare touch it.

When Yiayia wrote this recipe down, she wasn't thinking about trends or shortcuts. She was thinking about the way souvlaki should taste. The kind of flavour that takes you somewhere. Lemon. Oregano. Olive oil. Time.

That handwritten card has been in this family since before most of our customers were born. Andreas grew up watching it get pulled out, referenced, and put back, never changed, never "improved."

Because some things don't need improving.

Every Chicken Souvlaki Dinner we serve today carries that same recipe. Three charred skewers, golden fries, a fresh Greek salad, tzatziki made from scratch, warm pita on the side. Simple. Honest. Exactly the way it's supposed to be.

This is what 50+ years of family cooking looks like on a plate. 🍽️

Come taste the tradition for yourself. Dine in, order online, or catch us at your next event.

🍪 WESTSYDE — HELP US FIND THESE GIRL GUIDES! 🇬🇷💚

Last night, four young ladies stopped by my house selling Girl Guide Mint Cookies. Unfortunately, I was at work at The Greek Kouzina Express and missed them!

Well, ladies... I'd like to place an order. A BIG one. 😊🍪

We would like to purchase TWO FULL CASES of Mint Girl Guide Cookies directly from these four young entrepreneurs!

If you recognize them or know their parents, please have a parent or guardian message The Greek Kouzina Express directly. We'd love to invite the girls down to the restaurant so we can purchase the cookies from them in person.

And we're going to have a little fun with those cookies afterward. 🇬🇷🍪

Keep following this post!

Once we've purchased the two cases, I'll add a comment here letting everyone know the cookies have arrived.

From that moment until they're all gone, every Feast Platter purchased from The Greek Kouzina Express will come with ONE FREE BOX of Girl Guide Mint Cookies! 🎉

Supporting local shouldn't only mean asking our community to support our small business.

It means our small business supporting our community, too.

Local families. Local youth. Local organizations. Local businesses.

That's what community is all about. 💙

Please share this post and help us find these four young ladies!
