It all started as a casual weekend fun thing: Nikki and I would debate what new foods would we really like to try and make, then, with her extensive background and avid knowledge as a pastry connoisseur and former owner of a successful Toronto Patisserie and my years both living in The Caribbean and enjoying Mediterranean / Middle Eastern cooking mainly learnt from my Mother “Zahieh”, we decided;

Why Not! We thought; the Arabic word Zahieh which means; “Brilliant, Glowing, Shining”, was very suiting for our simple idea. Despite the competing temptations to take profitable business shortcuts, our aim is and will remain to offer only homemade, healthy, hearty, high quality foods, no less, Welcome To Zahieh’s World Of Delicacies!
