5 years!

Five years ago today, our first 15 sheep arrived. A lot can happen in such a short time! We've enjoyed growing our flock since then and making some big investments in our sheep, including buying back as much Rocky Lane genetics as we could, achieving our Maedi Visna A Status, getting set up for grazing, finally getting a handling system, and—probably most exciting for us right now—importing genetics from New Zealand.
We've made some great friends since getting into sheep and reconnected with people we had met through my grandparents which has been really special. ❤️

We can't wait to see what the next five years bring!

Our first AI lamb has arrived! A beautiful ewe lamb 😍 She's got some s***k! She was up and ready to go as soon as she was born. We love this about the New Zealand genetics. Exciting times on the farm!

One more month until our AI lambs are here!
My brother was traveling in New Zealand so of course he went to Windermere to see the rams we are using for AI! He had a great tour and took some photos and videos of the rams for us. We are so impressed by their sheep. We can't wait until the lambs out of these rams are born in April!!
