Bees require a lot of blooms to sustain themselves, it's traditionally understood that a single beehive would optimally be feeding off a whole acre of blooms at once!
That said, everything helps and quaint little pollinator gardens benifit much more than just the honeybee.

Bumblebees produce honey of a sort. Watery, unrefined, and less sweet it isn't reccomended. Furthermore, unlike the gluttonous honeybee, they do not store an excess of honey.
Try and taste some, you'll also find Bumblebee stings hurt a bit more than those of the honeybee.
