Happy The Keene Ontario Pumpkin Festival 🎃🍂

We had a chilly but fun morning exploring all the festivities happening right here in our little community! 🧡

With all the pumpkins around this time of year, we wanted to put out a little reminder that our farm animals would be more than happy to help you get rid of your pumpkins when you’re done with them! 🐷🐓🐐

We happily accept pumpkins, but please make sure they are clean, free of paint, candles, decorations, toothpicks or any other foreign objects, and have no signs of mold or rot. We want to make sure they’re safe for our animals to enjoy!

So before you toss those pumpkins, think of our hungry crew here at Duff Acres! 🧡

Can you believe we’re getting ready for our 5th Annual Holiday Giftaway?!

What started as a little idea to bring local businesses together and spread some Christmas cheer has turned into one of our favourite holiday traditions here at Duff Acres!

Every year, we’re reminded just how generous our community is, and we can’t wait to do it all over again!

We’ll have a limited number of whole and half pork and lamb available in mid-November!

Our pork and lamb are pasture-raised right here on our small family farm, with care and intention behind how we raise our animals.

All bulk orders will be professionally processed, cut and wrapped to your preferences! 🥩

Homemade potato salad and apple crisp — birthday boy’s request to go along with some homegrown sausages! 🥳🍎🥔 Today we celebrate James’ birthday!

One of our family traditions is letting the birthday person choose what’s on the menu for dinner on their special day! 🥰

The apple crisp was made with some of the beautiful apples we picked Davis Orchards a couple weekends ago! 🍎

Order your favourite loaf on our website by Wednesday at 8pm, and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up at the Farm Shop on Saturday!

And a little thank you to everyone who keeps coming back week after week for more (and sometimes the very next day, hoping I have an extra loaf 🤭)! I love hearing your feedback and knowing you’re enjoying the bread as much as I enjoy making it. Your support means so much! 🥰

Our Thanksgiving turkeys are officially ALL spoken for! 🦃

A huge thank you to everyone who chose one of our pasture-raised turkeys for their Thanksgiving table this year! We appreciate your support of our farm more than you know! 🤎

The Farm Shop is open some extra hours this weekend for turkey pickups AND in-store shopping!

🍂 Friday: 10am–4pm
🍂 Saturday: 10am–4pm

We have lots of other great goodies in the shop for your Thanksgiving weekend, including fresh sourdough, local preserves, handmade gifts and more!

And if you’re headed to the Norwood Fall Fair this weekend and passing through Keene, we’d love for you to stop in! 🎡🍂

We’ll be open some extra hours this weekend for Thanksgiving turkey pickups and in-store shopping! 🦃🍂

Friday: 10am–4pm
Saturday: 10am–4pm

If you’ve preordered a Thanksgiving turkey, we’ll be reaching out Thursday evening with your pickup details! 🦃

Sourdough preorders are also OPEN for Saturday pickup! 🍞 We’ll have a limited number of fresh loaves available in the Farm Shop on both Friday and Saturday as well.

Pop in while you’re picking up your turkey and check out all the other local goodies in the shop for your Thanksgiving weekend! And don’t forget the cranberry sauce from Spoonfully Delicious 😋
