🌽SWEET CORN UPDATE🌽

September is here and Labour Day weekend is just hours away!

Today will be our last day of bicolour (peaches ‘n cream) sweet corn for the season. Don’t worry though - we have what we’re predicting to be a great supply of delicious white corn for the next couple of weeks.

White corn is a specialty at Dorisdale Farm. The kernels are tender, sweet and when cooked, the corn is the shade of butter. Yum 😋

We can’t wait to see you this weekend and for the rest of sweet corn season.

🌽SWEET CORN UPDATE🌽

Today is August 31, 2026.

As we get ready to flip the calendar to September, know that there are still many reasons to stop by Dorisdale Farm.

🌽 We continue to have both white and bicolour sweet corn. Can you believe it’s our 41st consecutive day for sweet corn sales? That’s a lot of Dorisdale Dozens picked and eaten!

🍅 We have a variety of veggies from the garden each day. Quantities vary. It’s the time to stock up on garlic!

🎃Pumpkins and squash are coming soon. We’re just not quite ready to talk about fall 😉

🔥Think about our beef and BBQs for a few more weeks!

🌽SWEET CORN UPDATE🌽

Today is Saturday, August 22, 2026. It’s another two corn day at Dorisdale Farm. We love hearing how much you all are enjoying this year’s delicious season! You’re not the only one though who loves sweet corn…

When we get to the end of a section of sweet corn, it’s time for the second harvest! Peter uses the forage harvester to chop the stalks and any remaining cobs for the cows to enjoy. They can’t wait to have the wagon arrive for their daily buffet feed 💚🌽💛 That’s a great example of sustainable farming practices at Dorisdale Farm.

It’s Thursday, August 20. Today is our 30th consecutive day welcoming you to Dorisdale Farm for the 2026 sweet corn season.

We might be biased, but we think the season is just getting more and more delicious. It can’t get better when it’s a two corn day 💛🌽🌽💚

Today is Monday August 17. We’re pleased to report that the wait for white corn is over!! Plan your visit today.

Judging by all the questions, our white corn is a favourite of many customers. If you’d like to give it taste test, we’re happy to mix your Doris Dozen with both white and bi-colour.

🌽SWEET CORN UPDATE🌽

Today is Saturday, August 15. It’s a beautiful day for sweet corn and sunflowers (and other Dorisdale treats).

It’s our 25th day in a row this season having delicious bicolour sweet corn for you! That means dozens and dozens and dozens of Dorisdale Dozens (14 cobs) have been devoured already with more to come.

Our fingers are crossed that we have a highly anticipated corn variety update soon….🤞💚🌽💛🤞

It’s Friday, August 14. Sweet corn days continue at Dorisdale Farm!

We’ll be here all weekend long with bicolour sweet corn, farm raised beef, and homegrown veggies.
