Smoky days are tough, especially for farmers. We don’t have the option to stay indoors, plants don’t wait.

But after the sky cleared up, there’s something sweet to expect. Our white peaches will be ready in 10 days — juicy, fragrant, and worth every hard day.

They are the BEST white peaches in Okanagan, as you loved last year.

Fathers in our family aren’t big on words.
They just lift heavy, handle messy, tackle with the most difficult tasks.
Be strong. Work hard. Do the right thing even when no one is watching.
Kids are lucky to learn so much from them and so am I.

Sundays are for resting, but the melon seedlings are ready.
So the whole family headed out.

The roots were still white and tender. Perfect time to put them in the ground.
We worked as the sun went down, until the heat faded. The drip lines ran cool — each little plant got a drink the moment it touched the earth.
Light slipped away, but we kept going.

This is what it looks like when you love what you do —
planting summer, together, one seedling at a time, into the dark.

The tractor moves slowly across the field, fertilizing the rows.
A sweet peach takes a full year of care — pruning, fertilizing, watering, pest control, winter protection…

Farming is never about waiting.
We watch the weather, learn new pruning tricks, and try to stay ahead of the pests.
Every year, we’re learning.

Today, we fed the roots.
The rest is up to the sun and the days ahead.
Until the day we finally bite into the peach, we will know the land keeps every step we take.

Kids are staining their fingers, their lips, their smiles.
