🚨JOB OPPORTUNITY! 🚨
Another year is coming (and we’re steadily prepping!) but we’re looking to expand our team!

We’re looking for a Lead Farm hand, starting April 1st. Ideally, someone with prior farm/garden-related experience and/or keen interest in farming as a career. We’d be happy to educate and invest in someone who has a desire to farm for years to come. Tasks include:
•Bed prep, weeding, transplanting, pruning, harvest & post-harvest processing
•Small equipment and hand tool operation
•Field record keeping & data entry
•Keeping a clean and tidy work space & farm appearance
•Supply runs, deliveries & other farm tasks as needed.

Busy fall with family and markets! Thankful for the community coming together in support of all kinds recently: helping with farm projects, prepping of condiments and celebrating the life of Carlos’s dad.

Tomorrow is our last market of the year at the Parkinson Rec centre. We have limited quantity of tasty, late greens to remind you of the green-abundant months past. As well as plenty of sauces and condiments with pops of flavours to get you through the next few months.

Thank you all and if we don’t see you, have the happiest, cosy winter. Remember to intentionally rest and stay warm however you can…we all deserve it!

Special shout out to some amazing volunteers that have been showing up the past couple weeks🫶🏼

Our Wednesday group from last week is shown here helped us tackle the grape/dahlia/artichoke bed (swipe to see before and after). Afterwards, we got to share some local fruit and a delightful salad Carlos whipped up.

This summer has been intense in a lot of ways so it’s incredible to the extra support from fellow farmers, market vendors and community members. Thank you!!!❤️

Thank you for all the words of support over these last few weeks. It has been unimaginably hard but the support from friends and family has been immense.
