In the orchard with these sweet Sentennials 🍒

This cherry is broad shouldered like a Lapin, with an extremely firm, crunchy texture. Sentennial peaks on 9.5 row, and has similar flavour attributes to Staccato and Sweetheart. They’re making their way through the packing facility now! ✅

Our cherries are picked at night to ensure the coolest temperature, and then immediately brought to our state of the art packing facility where this magic happens ✨ We rely on the highest technology and process safety in order to ensure the quality and freshness of each cherry. Can you spot the UNITEC system taking 30 photos of EACH cherry? 🤯 And of course, our incredible team is the heart of it all.

Did you know that cherries are PACKED with essential nutrients? 🤩

These prunus fruits are a great source of vitamin C, potassium, boron, and fiber.

Cherries are rich in phytonutrients such as quercetin and anthocyanidins. Pretty big words, but to put it simply - people who have the highest intakes of quercetin-containing foods have been found to have a lower risk of asthma, and a lower incidence of lung cancer. Anthocyanidins, which produce the red hue in cherries, help maintain heart and urinary tract health, memory function, and lower the risk of some cancers.

Freshness: A green, flexible stem indicates that the cherry was recently harvested and is likely to be fresh. On the other hand, a brown or dried-out stem could suggest that the cherry has been sitting for a while, potentially affecting its taste and texture.
