Came across this guy in our raspberrys which we think is the Two Spotted Bumble Bee., Apparently commonly found in eastern north america, but here he is in the Okanagan!

Our giant pumpkin were off to a roaring start, but slowed a bit with this recent cooler weather. Seeing some male flowers this early in the season is a good sign that we'll soon see some pumpkins showing up.

Back on April 19th, we planted giant pumpkin seeds. We usually wait until the first week of May to plant so they don't get killed by frost. But here they are, looking nice and healthy! We transfered them yesterday from pots to the ground after a run of hot weather. Now, the weather changes and we'll have cool and wet weather ahead, which wont be ideal for these guys. Hopefully, it warms up quick so we can get some giant pumpkins growing again!

Happy Christmas! Today is our final day of the 2025 season. Wishing you all a great Christmas and happy holidays.

Today we will be open from 11 to 6, with hayrides, firepits and s'mores available. We also have some trees and unique gifts available for those last minute shoppers.
