Hi friends! It's been a bit quiet around here, and I wanted to share why. I'm excited (mixed with a pile of nerves and gratitude) to announce that I've been accepted into a doctorate program! 🎓 I'll be continuing to work full time and will launch into the doctoral program in September for the next three years.

This means that I had to assess my time, and ability to balance all the things. I have loved* building up this cookie business and it has been incredible to experience the support and love that you all have offered. However, in an effort to enjoy my last summer of flexibilty, and begin to prepare for what's to come, I've decided to close the online shop and pause collaborations. I plan to pop up at a few Christmas markets this year though, and may make a few surprise appearances as the months go on!

Y'all are wonderful. This feels like such a bittersweet decision, but I know it is the best one for me right now. Thank you's don't even begin* to describe the level of gratitude I feel for ALL the support and love. This isn't a permanent closure, it's just a new chapter. I'll continue to post on here with life updates, and will let you know when I'm back in the kitchen!🤍🍪

✨🍪Important Shop Update!🍪✨

Hi friends!

Thank you SO much for all the support this year. It’s been a milestone year - We set big goals, and with your support and help, we reached them. With that, I’d a taaaaaad tired, and need a little break to recharge so we can come back in 2025 ready to reach new heights again!

The shop is now closed, and will reopen on February 1st. Between now and then, there will be TWO spots where you can still get your cookie fix locally in the Okanagan!

Reflecting on this last week brings about a looooooooot* of emotions, phew! Y’all, we did it. This year has been incredibly wild in the best way possible, and going through this last week felt a bit surreal as we neared our break. I feel like my brain is still casually processing what this year encompassed, the opportunities it brought, the lessons it taught me, and the growth that I’ll carry into 2025. Hi friends!

Tomorrow, December 8th from 10-3 at East Kelowna Hall will be my LAST Christmas Market in Kelowna!! If you’re local, come out and grab your cookies and fudge for Christmas time!🎄🤍

There will be an amazing line up of vendors to help you complete your Christmas shopping, as always! Hope to see you there🤍🍪.

Cheers to a few special people that help me stay afloat in the busyness of the Christmas season,🤍🎄.

Chris is my unofficial sticker man, accountant, packager, taste tester, cheerleader, therapist, and a lot of other hats I’m probably forgetting. Thank you for understanding my ‘0 or 100%’ mentality, listening to me talk about cookies a million times a day, loving me through the chaos, and supporting my dreams without fail,♥️.

Manda is my cookie consultant and co-brainstormer, and one who talks me off the ledge when I’m starting to spiral, or pulls me out of the rabbit hole. Thank you for flying to Kelowna and jumping into the accountant, packager, and all the other hats that come along with hanging out in the kitchen with me,♥️. (We need to get a new picture because I think I had just finished crying here because that’s what happens when you run a small business and you don’t feel like you always know what you’re doing,😅).
