For many new farmers, access to land is the #1 barrier to producing food for their communities.

Did you know that the B.C. Land Matching Program (BCLMP) offers a FREE match-making service, pairing people who have agricultural space to share, and new or expanding farms that need space to farm?

To date, the BCLMP has created 485 matches on over 14,556 acres - and counting! More than 70% of all farm businesses matched to date (since 2016) are still in operation, feeding their communities and supporting local food security. Now, more than ever, supporting local farmers and food is critical to Canadian sovereignty!

You can learn more about the B.C Land Matching Program at https://youngagrarians.org/programs/bc-land-matching-program/

Looking for other ways support local farmers? For those in BC, look for the 'buyBC' logo at your grocery store or farmers' market, or check out the BC Association of Farmers' Markets (https://bcfarmersmarket.org) to find a market and farmers near you! You can also head to the Young Agrarians U-MAP to find local farms: https://maps.youngagrarians.org/map
