This is the FIRST year we have harvested green tomatoes before it was going to freeze at night. There is still many tomatoes that will ripen on the vine in the next week or so. About 20lbs of these will become green tomato relish the rest I will be trying different recipes. I didn't take any pictures of the gardens before hacking back the plants but lets just say they were out of control! One Banana Legs plant produced 14lbs 7oz of usable green tomatoes!

The experiment was a success! We decided to try growing corn in self watering pots on the hot side of the pool. They are doing amazingly. I just have to work on grouping them better for pollination. The two big cobs are from a grouping of four pots, all touching. The other two are from pots all in a row. for the win!
