Blue doing a nice job of bringing in the ewes tonight. Had to redirect him a couple times to get around the arena but then he got it. With it being so wet and our ground has some clay in it, a few of the ewes get clay stuck between their toes.

On May 4th we moved the ewes out of the winter pens to some stockpiled grass. Two groups of mature ewes and a group of ewe lambs. Matures tend to follow along and go straight out. The ewe lambs on the other hand, can be described as herding cats in a tub of water. Thankful for a pair of collies to get the job done.

I am excited to announce that me and my Blue dog have made the official list of handlers. This will be the first time I have attended Clock, Stock and Barrel held at Stampede Park during their Aggie Days. Competition date is April 18, 2026, good luck to all and safe travels. Blue had to work for it this morning with the ewe lamb pen. Spring is in the air and ewes are feeling it.
