Meet Roy, our newest farm kitty 🐾 she's been growing alongside our cover crop of clover this summer.

I thought I had missed the spruce tip harvesting window this year, but got lucky and found some late bloomers in the swamp. 🐸
Typically the buds are perfect to harvest somewhere around May long weekend, but they were later this year. I'll still be making salve, but likely not enough to make it to a Christmas market. I'll still have some available via DM though!

The best tree planting weather is when it's windy enough to keep the bugs away 🦟

Thanks for the help! Another round of seedlings in the ground.

Good things take time. 🌱
We’ve had so much interest in our trees lately, and we want to say a huge thank you! While these little ones in the field are growing strong, they still need a few more years before they’re ready to go home with you.
However, we aren’t waiting that long to welcome you! We plan to open the farm before then so you can visit our timber frame barn and shop a selection of amazing local products. We will also be bringing in fresh, pre-cut Christmas trees sourced from other Ontario growers, so you can still find your perfect tree here. 🌲
Stay tuned for updates!
