Phoenix Hill has been through a lot over the last year. 2025 became a year of finding our feet after getting knocked down, of weathering storms, and allowing ourselves to heal from everything thrown our way.

Like the phoenix we are named for, we are rising from our ashes. 2026 is our year of rebirth. Our year of rebuilding and growing. And it all starts with a calf.

Meet Bartholomoo. Bart's birth was quiet and uncomplicated, he popped into the world with no fanfare or dramatics. It was textbook, it was easy. It was by all definitions, boring. And in being so it was the most exciting thing to happen on this farm in years. An unremarkable calf, born to an unremarkable heifer, in an unremarkable way, who represents three years of blood, sweat, tears, time, and heartbreak. He is destined for the freezer, his purpose since conception, but he will be loved every second until his day comes.

Bart is the living representation of our resilience and fight to move forward when everything says give up. He is the proof that when it all goes wrong you can still come back with success.
