Last week’s pizza special was “jalapeño popper”. Sorry if you missed this sizzling beauty.

But there’s hope! This week’s special is “butter chicken”, made with local chicken and our fresh veg🤤. Get your pizza (and veg, and music, and flowers) fix tomorrow from 3:30-7:30 at 35 Muriel lake rd.

Fun fact, did you know we only use local meat on our pizzas? Shout out to Wojtyniak Farm for raising the good stuff!

Breaking news! It’s garlic season.

Our garlic looks a little different than what you might find at the store.
We grow hardneck garlic, which has a stronger flavour, much larger cloves, and is easier to peel!
It also produces the edible curly flower stem known as a garlic scape.
While store bought garlic often sits in storage for months before you bring it home, we harvest our garlic fresh before selling it to you.

Meet Jeremy, our greenhouse supervisor at Muriel Shores Farm! If you’re enjoying our tomatoes, be sure to thank Jeremy for helping out with pest control.

A fun fact about Jeremy: he used to have a tail! He’s a little embarrassed by it, but we’ve all had our awkward adolescent phases.

Jeremy’s favourite crop on the farm is caterpillars. Green ones, brown ones, yellow ones: they’re all good snacking.

Jeremy wishes more people understood how easy it is to get help in the garden. Just put away the pesticides and keep some undisturbed habitat near your crops. Pretty soon you’ll have helpers like him working hard day and night!

What Jeremy loves most about Muriel Shores Farm is hanging out in the hot, humid greenhouses. It makes breathing through your skin a lot easier.
