Well it’s been two weeks now since starting at the Way Point at Lakeside Marina and I have to say it’s a breath of fresh air and I’m truly enjoying the opportunity to redo it this time around and I’m on my own terms with an awesome new work family right on the waterfront!😁👉🏽🔥
What more could a person ask for!?😁👍🏽
And tomorrow I’m looking at starting my first shot at soup and bannock here at the Way Point and I have three killer soups I’m thinking of and thought I’d ask around what soups they might like to see offered here?😁
I have hamburger Mac, split pea & ham and chicken & wild rice!

Wow it’s been such a roller coaster of an interesting ride these last few months since I started my catering business & selling lunch & dinner specials!
I understand the people is this town are straight up meat and potatoes kinda people who just like good home cooking and that’s what I do from scratch and it hasn’t changed in forever!
Fast forward and I know I’m definitely not into working somewhere where I’m under appreciated and then I get a call yesterday and an offer to run the kitchen at the Waypoint restaurant, bar and grill at the Lake of the Woods Marina and after seeing the perks and the opportunities for advancement and growth in multiple areas, I accepted the offer and I’m truly blessed and thankful for the opportunity to help this place grow and thrive together!
So if you’ve tried my food or had one of my caters, this is where I’ll be from now on cooking on the daily and if you want a cater, phone here and we’ll be glad to book you in for your next event, big or small they’re all welcome!👌🏽✅
