Blueshank Farms

Blueshank Farms We are a modern sheep farm and strive to make our facilities comfortable for the sheep and ourselves. Custom farming is also part of our cropping season.

Blueshank Farms is a sixth generation family farm (continuously operated by the same family since 1845) Our 300 ewe flock consists of commercial and registered Rideau Arcotts and a small flock of registered Suffolks. Our crops consist of forages, barley, wheat, soybeans and corn.

Things got a little hectic this morning with sextuplets, quints and two sets of triplets arriving pretty near all at the same time! This flock started lambing a few days earlier than I expected. There are babies everywhere! I’ve been flying by the seat of my pants trying to keep up. Jackie 🐑
