Looks like we have a predator... sadly not the animal kind. Someone in the Aaldersville area has thought its OK to go into our barns and take somewhere in the area of 25 turkey poults... coincidendentially, the amount a household is allowed to raise.

This is our business, our livelihood and someone decided they were more important. Weeks of feed, the cost of the birds, shipment from Quebec... gone, but you are more important I guess, one turkey you're hungry... 25 or so, you're a thief and shame on you. SHAME ON YOU

Todd the baby Guernsey steer and his ducks friends and waiting to meet the new piglets, while I was at market one of our sows graced us with her litter of piglets, she generally shares duties with her sister who had piglets mid week... not much cuter that a new piglet ♥️

If I could sum up life on a livestock farm in the winter with one photo, this might be it 😬

Mud covered ice cleats 🤦‍♀️

Yesterday, torrential rain and 7 degrees... today -2, feels like -8 except here at 900 feet above SL where you get blown across the newly formed ice post massive rain storm with a freezing rain warning. Even the livestock have decided that staying inside is a good idea... except our feathered friends, they are fierce 🤣

I hate to wish away time but ... come on April

This person needs to be fun and animated, I do not care about tats, piercings or hair styles etc but this person must follow food safety guidelines for personal cleanliness, reliability and honesty a must as well should be someone familiar with the market scene, this person would be the solo human at the market and as such must know how to juggle those waiting for help, remembering the regulars favourite treats while engaging customers. This person also needs to know about us, our farm and facility as we are a true farm to fork facility and people enjoy knowing these things.

This person must be aware of food safety protocol and able to help customers with allergies in product selection (you’ll have a chart).

This person, if they desire could potentially fill a vacancy on farm in the facility where everything is processed.

This position pays 15.00 an hour, paid each week.
