Two new releases.

We’re excited to introduce our 2023 Cabernet Franc and 2023 Merlot, both recently awarded Gold at the All Canadian W**e Championships!

Two expressive, beautifully crafted reds that bring together exceptional Kaleden fruit and Orofino w**emaking.

2023 Cabernet Franc 🍇

Bright red fruit, subtle herbal notes and a touch of spice. Full-bodied, with elegant tannins and a long, integrated finish.

2023 Merlot 🍇

Rich and velvety, with notes of chocolate-covered cherries, dark fruit and spice. Generous, beautifully balanced and wonderfully smooth.

After an exclusive first release to our w**e club members, both w**es are now available to everyone!

A courtyard full - familiar faces, new releases, delicious food and plenty of good conversation. What a lovely way to spend a fall afternoon.

Yesterday we welcomed our w**e club members for our fall pickup party, and with Thanksgiving weekend upon us, it felt like the perfect opportunity to celebrate the people who make this little w**ery community so special.

One of the things we love most about what we do is getting to share it with you. From introducing new w**es to catching up with new & familiar faces, these moments of connection mean so much to our team.

To our w**e club members, thank you for your continued support, your enthusiasm for our w**es and for making the trip out to spend an afternoon with us.

We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Orofino family.

From our harvest to your table.

We’re feeling grateful - for this place we get to call home, for the people who make Orofino what it is, and especially for the friends, neighbours and visitors who continue to share it with us.

Our hope for you this weekend is simple: slow down a little, gather around a table with people you love, eat something delicious, pour something local, and enjoy the moments that don’t need to be rushed.

And if you’re looking for a bottle to bring to the table, we’re here all weekend and would love to help you find something special.

A little field trip for the w**e crew!

We spent the day exploring our neighbouring w**e community in Summerland, discovering new w**es, learning the stories behind each w**ery, and appreciating the unique experiences each one has to offer. Every stop had its own personality, and we felt so welcomed while learning something new along the way!

A huge thank you to our tour company and our wonderful guide, Dino, for being so friendly, informative, and taking such great care of us throughout the day.

And to each of the w**eries who welcomed us, shared their knowledge, and poured us a taste of what makes their place special - thank you!

It was a lovely opportunity to connect as a team, support our neighbours in the w**e industry, and celebrate the people who make BC w**e such a special community to be part of.

To our own team, thank you for all that you do. A well-deserved day together!

A little change of scenery for our tasting room crew.

We’ll be closed Thursday, October 8 while our team takes a well-deserved day away from the tasting room for some staff appreciation and a little exploring of our local w**e community.

We spend so much of the season welcoming guests into our little corner of w**e country, so we’re looking forward to turning the tables for a day - tasting, visiting and supporting some of our neighbours in Summerland.

Tomorrow you can find us in Keremeos for the Similkameen Sizzle! 🌶️

One of those wonderfully Similkameen traditions that brings the valley together every September - with hot peppers, local food, music, makers, kids’ activities and plenty of community spirit.

We’ll have a table pouring some of our favourite Orofino sips during the Sip & Sizzle, and we’d love to see you there.

Come wander the market, take in the festivities, grab something spicy and stop by to say hi.

Every season teaches us something. We learn, we grow, we try new things - and every year, we‘re reminded why we love welcoming people through our doors.

Our hope is that when you come back to Orofino, you know you’ll find the w**es and care you’ve come to expect, but there’s always something new to discover, too.

This summer brought plenty of those moments.

People bringing new friends. Families making a day of it. New guests telling us they heard about Orofino at a restaurant, an event, or from someone who insisted they had to come see us for themselves.

First-time visitors to the Similkameen who put this little region on their list of places to discover this summer. Familiar faces making their annual stop. And even a few four-legged guests who clearly know everyone is welcome around the table.

We’re so grateful to everyone who chose to spend a little piece of summer with us - and to everyone who helped introduce someone new to Orofino and this little valley we’re lucky to call home.

When we dreamed up the Thursday Table, it started with a simple idea: we wanted to bring people together.

A good meal, a glass of w**e, our courtyard, and a place to settle in for the evening.

From June through September, you showed up week after week and turned that simple idea into a tradition. You brought friends and family, made a night of it, came back again and again, and made the courtyard feel a little more alive every Thursday.

That courtyard is a pretty special place to us, and there’s something really meaningful about seeing other people enjoy it as much as we do. Thank you for making it yours for the summer.

We were so happy to gather around the table with you one last time last week, and with that, the Thursday Table is officially wrapped for the season.

A very big thank you to All About Charcuterie for being such a wonderful part of these nights. You showed up every week with the best energy, a whole lot of enthusiasm, and food that was always delicious - no matter what was on the menu. We’ve loved collaborating with you.

And to our own team, who helped bring every one of these evenings to life: thank you. We’re so grateful for all the care, work and heart you put into making these nights happen.

And most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us around the table this summer.

It was pretty special to watch a simple idea become something people looked forward to each week.

Definitely one of our most celebrated varietals - RIESLING!!!

Our calcium rich soils and cool nights are just what we want to produce fruit forward, high acid aging worthy w**es.

Very excited to be fermenting this vintage Home Vineyard Riesling in gorgeous Austrian barrels and concrete.
