Hey everyone! I know it's been a minute or three, so I thought I'd better get on here to let you know that market season is just around the corner! But first, for those of you who may be new to the site, let me take a moment to do a little intro. My name is Tamara and I live on an acreage in southwestern Manitoba along with my husband Miguel. Many years ago we started a side hustle making and selling beeswax wraps. We have continued with the wraps, however, I found a passion for weaving during COVID and started to add some textiles to our sales. What started off with some kitchen towels on a rigid heddle loom has now grown and expanded into hats, shawls, table runners, napkins, rugs, and many other ideas as I have explored the world of floor looms. Of course you can't get into textiles without dabbling into eco-dyeing as well! We are blessed to have parents who have spent many years establishing a beautiful lineage of alpacas and I love working with their fibre! Welcome to our site, and I hope I can meet you someday at an upcoming market!

Well, it took all weekend but "Jenkins", the 60" Nilus Leclerc loom, managed to get set up and warped this weekend. Nothing like jumping off the deep end into floor looms! 😵‍💫 Lots of mistakes made, lessons learned, and an overwhelming test in patience! Huge thanks to Max and Mig for their help with all the problem solving!
