When we first approached the previous owners of Lake Effect, one of the things they told us that their customers were incredible, and that many of them had kept in touch hoping for smoothies to come back to the someday soon.

We quickly realized this would be a PERFECT fit for our unique concept for a new downtown business, especially in our incredible “Lake view” location.

The smoothie bar & cafe has only been open since Tuesday & we are already feeling the LOVE from many of you as well as a few newbies. 😊

Just a reminder that we are open at 8am Tuesday-Saturday, incase your looking for something to kick-start your day.

COMING SOON - Phase 2 “Cafe & Smoothie Bar”

Hello everyone, we are so grateful for the response that we have had with the opening of the children Boutique (Phase 1). Although January has come with some more challenges with the pandemic, we are on track to launch the Cafe & Smoothie Bar very soon, and we couldn’t be any more excited.

Many of you have been asking about when the cafe will be open, and although we don’t have an exact date, our plan is to have the store blessed with the aromas of freshly brewed coffee & delicious healthy smoothies & grab and go snacks available to enjoy as the lockdown is lifted.

Once the cafe is up & running we plan to have the final Phase 3 “Play Space & indoor seating” finalized, and be fully operational as we head into the spring months.

Our goal is to have the completed vision of our store ready for you to experience and enjoy ASAP!!

Heya Lake Effect’rs, and all the rest of our friends in town;

Apologies for not posting in a while, let’s just say this post was not an easy one to make and it me a long time to write the words.

With everything else, all amazing things must come to an end, and us smoothie bros have decided we need a change of pace. We are moving on from Lake Effect and have closed up shop. We will be reaching out, and perhaps someone else can carry the torch once all the madness of 2020/21 is over.

We just want to thank everyone who has been there to support us. There is truly no other town that helps out local businesses like we saw in Kincardine over this past year. Love you all. Hope to talk soon, and stay safe out there 💕
