So...last week was week 1 of our CSA bin program.
This post is about 1 week late.

Why you ask?
Spring is busy, there isn't a lot of time to be on social media.
We are seeding, planting, harvesting, hand hoeing, weeding and trying desperately to keep ahead, while running school tours, doing field work as another tractor breaks down!
Is if working?
Nope, we are slowly falling behind and any new jobs we thought we could tackle are being delayed.
But, on the upside, Brian fixed the tractor... only2 more to fix.

Meet Balsam! She was a surprise.
Balsam was born May 27th and is already skipping around and loving life.

And yes, the hay is always better from the top of the feeder lol!

Yes, I smelled quite ripe after this, I didn't plan ahead, so was downwind and very close. Phew!
