I hate to have to make this post, but here I am. If we are not home, please do not walk into our house and take feed. This is our home, and we do not appreciate strangers walking into our house unannounced. It doesn't matter if you leave the money there or not; please do not do this. Please remember that we have lives and animals outside of selling feed, and we cannot be home 24/7. If we do not reply to your messages right away, chances are we are not home; that does not mean you can come into our home. If you need feed that badly, let us know ahead of time, and we can work something out. If you do this, you will not be welcomed back. To all our other feed customers, thank you for your continuing support

Today we visited the community gardens and had a look at the vegetables that people in the community are growing. We seen lots of carrots growing this year, turnips are growing very well and the peas are also growing well. There are some beautiful onions growing and the beets are growing very good. Some of the bins just have potatoes in them. We would like to encourage everyone to start a garden wither it be one of these bins or a small garden in your backyard. Even if you just grow vegetables for just one meal of new vegetables or a little more. Fresh vegetables are great and the fun that you can have planting and watching them grow. Maybe with your children or grandchildren. Try to make an effort next year to plant some vegetables and enjoy your labors in the fall. Let’s get out there and enjoy the sunshine and have fun doing it.

With people starting to harvest there vegetables and animals we would like to see the fruits of your labour. It doesn’t matter how big or how small in the comments of this post feel free to show your harvests be it a giant field of vegetables or just enough for one meal or a large flock of animals or just a few chickens in your backyard. you should all feel proud of your efforts. I’ll go first here is a bucket of new potatoes I harvested a couple weeks back.
