A long-haired homeless man sits at a public piano located on a Florida street. He tears through an electrifying cover of ‘Come Sail Away’ much to the amazement of passers-by. As he continues to play, one spectator says “Do you know how hard that is to play?!” fascinated by the skill on display. The song being played by the dishevelled gent shows talent rarely seen outside of a concert hall. A video recorded on that day went viral reaching a staggering 45 million views and shortly after becoming the talk of the internet, a GoFundMe campaign was set up in his name, raising $40,0000. The Professional Womens Hockey League (PWHL) has released their logo for their Inaugural season. The PWHL will feature teams from America and Canada. Cities included are Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa and Toronto. The puck will drop in January and end in June, that will be followed by a Playoffs and Finals format, kind of like the NHL has. Tickets are still unavailable, but details should be out soon. The PWHL will play its games in a variety of facilities, from NHL-sized rinks to minor and junior league arenas. The league plans to stream each game digitally, but also hopes for linear television coverage.
