If you could grow better, contribute to a global solution, and establish or improve a farming business for yourself — would you?

So here is the question:

If we made this software free and open source, would the global hydroponic community embrace it?

Could a global network of growers, developers, researchers, and local food leaders help advance the technology faster than any single company or development team ever could?

A single team, in a single country, cannot “walk the miles” of growers around the world.

But a global network can.

Would you embrace the opportunity to work together — not only to advance growing technology, but to make a meaningful difference in local food systems around the world?

I look forward to hearing what the community has to say. This project represents five years of research and development, with contributions from multiple universities. To see it create a positive global impact by harnessing the power of a global network would be an incredibly rewarding outcome.

Fresh food belongs in the community.
This week, more than 150 lbs of fresh produce was donated to Kingston organisations through the GreenReach network of local growers.

These donations are made possible by local farms, local partnerships, and a shared commitment to building a stronger food system.

GreenReach is proud to support all forms of agriculture by helping connect growers, community organisations, grocers, and buyers through the tools and marketplace needed for local food to reach more people.

Local agriculture grows stronger when local growers and local grocers work together.

GreenReach is excited to welcome Tara Natural Foods and Bearance’s Grocery as new grocery partners. Both are now supporting more locally grown food on their shelves, including produce from Notable Sprout and the GreenReach Mini Farm.

Notable Sprout is a new addition to the GreenReach network, and we are proud to help create more pathways for local producers to reach local customers.

GreenReach supports all agriculture by helping build the connections, tools, and marketplace needed for a stronger local food system.
