Today's Monday Mom Moment: This week is Bailey's birthday!!! He is turning 23 on July 31st. We are celebrating all things B this week so you won't catch him on the bike but he will return next week!
Here we are the Harry Potter: Visions of Magic in Montreal today. Fun Facts: Bailey shares the same birthday as Harry Potter, my maiden name is Potter, and Bailey loved Harry Potter so much when he was younger, he dressed as Harry for Halloween 3 years in a row! I know that if Bailey was at Hogwarts he would be in Gryffindor as he is the most brave, kind, and caring person I know. Feel free to tell us what house you would be in!

B's mom Amber here. I thought on Mondays I would share a little behind the scenes look at B's Bike Bites.
Today I want to share a memory from 12 years ago. That is little B on his first bike with stabilizer wheels and as always, Aaron is by his side cheering him on all the way.
For many people with neurodiversity, things like learning to ride a bike can be very difficult. It requires being able to do three gross motor functions at the same time (in addition to managing the sensory overload): pedaling the bike, steering the handles, and balancing. As a result, it took a lot of practice and a lot of patience on Bailey's part (with support from Aaron, Gramma, Papa, and myself) to be able to learn to ride a two wheel bike. It is a huge accomplishment for Bailey to not only be able to ride a bike today but to also navigate the 400lbs cart that goes with it.
B's Bike Bites is so important to Bailey in many ways. Buying an cold treat from him is more than a purchase, is a celebration of all the things he has accomplished. Thanks for supporting his journey. See you in the sun!
