Stargazer Farm Breeding Warmbloods and Welsh Cobs for the competitive amateur rider. We also offer boarding to retired and young horses. Manners are of a top priority for us.

The main focus of our farm is breeding Hanoverian and Rhineland horses for the competitive amateur rider. We believe strongly in the concept of creating "easy" horses; meaning horses who have both the temperament and intelligence to be a joy to train, but also the athletic ability and conformation to find the physical work they are asked to perform effortless. We have selected only stallions and m

are with dual purpose pedigrees to allow future owners of our horses the flexibility to compete in multiple disciplines, and because we believe a truly athletic and well conformed sport horse should be versatile. We believe giving our foals the best chance at a long and happy life begins by raising them well as youngsters...

All foals at our farm are handled daily and have excellent manners. All of our horses have their hooves trimmed by a professional farrier every six to eight weeks starting at around two months of age. It is also important for us that all of our foals enjoy 12+ hours of daily turnout for optimal development and quality of life, as well as being fed high quality forages, grains, and vitamin/mineral supplements.

Our first black dot of the season. 🤗 Huge thanks to the stallion owner and our vets for making this possible. 💝 Still a long way go, but with luck I should have my first Hanoverian x Welsh cross in May 2027. It will be homozygous black and, with some extra luck, a girl.🤞

Happy Canada Day from Stargazer Farm! 🇨🇦✨

Today, as I look out over our farm's fields and enjoy the beauty of this land, I reflect on what it means to be Canadian.

For me, loving this country means embracing it as a whole; celebrating its incredible strengths while acknowledging its complex history. I believe that striving to be better means recognizing where we have done wrong in the past, and carrying that understanding forward as we grow together.

There is so much about this country to cherish and protect. I love the breathtaking landscapes. I love the rich cultural mosaic that defines us, and the vibrant art, music, and literature that give Canada its voice. Most of all, I love the people - both those who have been here for generations and those we welcome from all corners of the world to make this country their home.

Today, I celebrate the community, the kindness, and the diversity that make Canada truly special, with a shared hope that we can keep building a more inclusive and thoughtful future for everyone.
